Grow Without Diluting Your Core Brand
Sabrina was turning away nearly 200 applicants a month because they didn’t fit The Enchanted Traveler’s detailed, ride-by-ride planning model. Instead of lowering her standards, she built a second, lighter-touch brand in just six weeks. Learn how she positioned two brands for two different kinds of advisors and two different client audiences.
What the Experiment Actually Revealed
Sabrina shares her original hypothesis, where it held up, and where it didn’t, from recruiting numbers and first-year sales to the surprising truth about what these advisors really wanted. You’ll also hear how shifts in SEO, AI search, and large host agency recruiting changed her pipeline, and what that could mean for yours.
Should You Launch a Second Brand?
Before you start, you need to know what you’re differentiating: destination, client type, or advisor type. Get Sabrina’s key questions on recruitment sources, training, and scalability, plus how a second brand can give you more options for borderline candidates and advisors who need a different fit.
About the Course
What happens when you stop trying to make one brand work for everyone? In this candid session, Sabrina Tinius, founder of The Enchanted Traveler and creator of the So You’d Like to Charge a Planning Fee community, opens up about her business experiment: launching Wandering Wands, a turnkey sister brand built for advisors who love Disney but don’t want to build intricate itineraries. She doesn’t just share the wins. She walks through the assumptions that proved wrong, the empty Zoom calls and cancelled team trip, and the moment she realized she’d been measuring success by the wrong yardstick. You’ll hear how a brand she thought was failing turned out to be profitable with little ongoing work, why turnkey systems may matter more to some advisors than community, and how she’s rethinking engagement going forward. If you’ve ever wondered whether a second brand could help you capture more sales without compromising what you’ve built, this is the honest, behind-the-scenes look you need.
Meet Sabrina
Sabrina Tinius started in the travel industry in 2012 and by 2014, she founded her own agency, The Enchanted Traveler. Sabrina came into the industry wanting to focus on detailed Disney itinerary planning as a paid service and quickly realized that wasn’t the norm. She has since built an agency focused on strategic Disney parks planning, with all agents being fee-based planners. Sabrina has had a passion for spreading the fee model in the industry, as she firmly believes that travel advisors who are more than order takers deserve to be compensated for their services. In 2017, she founded a facebook group called So You’d Like to Charge a Planning Fee to help others find the courage to change their business model. The group has since grown to over 6000 members. The Enchanted Traveler is Gold Earmarked and U-Preferred and currently has 47 agents. 28 in Wandering
