Standardizing Brand Expectations

Ensure agents can articulate the value of their services

Overcoming Fear of Losing Clients

Even with some client loss, agents often make more money with fees for less work

Fee Collection Methods

Options include agency-level collection (e.g. QuickBooks, Stripe) or individual agent collection and ensure clear tracking and attribution of fees to specific agents

Transforming Fee Hesitation into Confidence

Charging fees is about understanding your value and communicating it effectively to clients. Standardizing services and fees across an agency helps build agent confidence. Training and support are essential for helping agents succeed with a fee-based model

Meet Sabrina Tinius: Your resident fee expert

Sabrina Tinius started in the travel industry in 2012 and by 2014, she founded her own agency, The Enchanted Traveler. Sabrina came into the industry wanting to focus on detailed Disney itinerary planning as a paid service and quickly realized that wasn’t the norm. She has since built an agency focused on strategic Disney parks planning, with all agents being fee-based planners.   Sabrina has had a passion for spreading the fee model in the industry, as she firmly believes that travel advisors who are more than order takers deserve to be compensated for their services. In 2017, she founded a facebook group called So You’d Like to Charge a Planning Fee to help others find the courage to change their business model. The group has since grown to over 6000 members. The Enchanted Traveler is Gold Earmarked and U-Preferred and currently has 50 agents.
